The website of Van Trier Projects is a platform for high quality information on topics of societal and political interest. We warmly invite and very much welcome your contribution to this young and rapidly expanding website. See also our Mission Statement.
Currently we have three options to publish your contribution. Other options can be developed if needed or appropriate.
1. The complete text online - This is the preferred option for shorter texts like columns, opinions and book reviews. By clicking on the link on the 'overview page', the visitor of vantrier.org will directly be able to read the entire text online.
2. The complete text as download - This is the preferred option for longer texts like master theses, journalistic background articles or scientific contributions. By clicking on the link on the 'article overview page', the visitor of vantrier.org will get to the abstract of the text. From here it will be possible to download the text as a pdf-document.
3. An abstract - This option enables the reader to get a first impression of the article by reading a comprehensive abstract. To read the complete text the reader will have to order the article by email and receive it as a pdf-document. This option is available for those authors who like to control the distribution of their work or for articles that are either not available for free or underlying special copyright restrictions.
Van Trier Projects encourages diversity in languages. Although the site itself is in English, contributions can be published in all major European languages.
Van Trier Projects wants to be a stage for young critical authors. Thinking and freedom are one of a pair. The editors of vantrier.org hence will never reject relevant articles because of the opinion expressed in the article or represented by the author. (This freedom does not apply to illegal content). The editors do however reserve the right to reject articles of poor quality or to shorten and edit contributions if necessary and after consultations with the author.
